When you’re first starting out, an all-in-one website platform is a great way to create a beautiful website without having to hire a graphic designer or a web developer. They offer page builders, drag-and-drop editors, design templates, seamless integration with popular software, and incredible support. Many of them also include website hosting in their packages, so establishing your web presence is as easy as signing up, paying the fee, and answering a few simple questions about how you’d like your website to look and function.
Here are a couple of all-in-one site builders that I swear by:
WordPress is a flexible platform that has a long-standing pedigree among website builders. It has powerful and robust functionality, tons of pre-designed website themes for you to choose from, and oh – the platform itself is absolutely free.
Showit is a website platform that provides total creative freedom over the layout and design of your website, all without a single line of code. It offers the best of both worlds -- an incredibly easy drag-and-drop editor paired with the power of WordPress.
GoLive offers beautiful (and really easy to use) design templates for the Squarespace platform. They also have a ton of free resources on everything from how to write compelling copy for your website, to creating your brand statement, which I absolutely love!
Leadpages is a landing page and website builder that allows you to roll out lead-generating campaigns in record time. Not only can you build out your entire website on LeadPages, but it’s also an excellent option if you just want to start with a single landing page.
